Skanska Acquire New Project in Prague

Property construction group Skanska, have acquired a new project in the Czech capital Prague.

The commercial development, ‘FIVE’ is in the Prague 5 district near Andel station on Subway Line B.

It was acquired from German company Hochtief, who have been operating in the Czech Republic since 1997.

The scheme, when completed, will have 10,600 square metres of leasable space. Hochtief had emphasised that companies will be able to acquire small leases from 150 square metres to 1400, all on one floor, enabling them flexibility.

There will be a spacious terrace with a view of the Vltova River on the roof.

The development has easy access to motorways leading to other major cities such as Brno and Pilson, along with Vaclav Havel Airport just outside the city.

‘FIVE’ will meet the highest of environmental standards achieving LEED Gold Certificate.

New Europe Investor recently reported, that Skanska had completed another major development in Prague called Riverview.

Riverview is also in the commercial area of the prestigious Prague 5 district.
