Having recently entered the Latvian and Lithuanian markets, the owners of the Yum! franchise have said that they will soon be entering the Estonian market.

Yum! have opened four KFC restaurants and two Pizza Hut restaurants in Lithuania and have recently opened its first KFC in Riga’s Old Town.

They confirmed that they are searching out further good locations in the Latvian capital, and other major cities outside of the Lithuanian capital, Vilnius.

Sigurdur Sigurdsson, who is head of the franchise in the Baltic Countries and Finland, said that the company will not give a date for Estonian market entry, but says they are ironing out the final details.

KFC has 19,000 restaurants throughout the world, with Pizza Hut currently operating around 11,000 locations globally.
